Our client is seeking a Security Architect who will be instrumental in establishing and overseeing the cyber-security frameworks, standards, and architectures needed to support the company’s strategic goals in a secure and controlled manner. This role will involve close collaboration with both technology and business units to ensure secure-by-design principles are applied to hybrid-cloud computing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the cyber-security strategy to align with broader technology and business plans. This includes designing and implementing architectural standards, reference architectures, and securing application deployments. You’ll also lead the charge in keeping up with emerging trends in cyber-security, guiding the company’s direction to ensure continued innovation and protection.

You will serve as the go-to expert for cyber-security, influencing key stakeholders and embedding security requirements early in the project lifecycle. Your role will also include managing security adoption across the organization, building relationships with technical teams, and providing security assurance for major changes or new projects.

Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cyber-security, with expertise in application architectures, data security, hybrid-cloud computing solutions, and secure-by-design practices. You should have experience with security protocols, authentication and authorization, identity management, and tools like Veracode, Fortify, and STRIDE.

A degree in computer science or information technology is preferred, along with relevant architecture or security qualifications (e.g., TOGAF, CISMP). Familiarity with Microsoft platforms such as Azure, Office 365, and Entra ID is also required, along with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
